Introduction:
So you want to be an eBay
Trading Assistant but don't know where to begin. On the
following pages, you'll find a basic step by step guide to getting
started. We will assume that you have a good working
knowledge of selling on eBay. If not, you should acquire more
experience selling before starting your Trading Assistant
business.
Qualifications:
The first thing you should
do is see if you qualify for eBay's Trading Assistant
program. The requirements set by
eBay to be a registered trading assistant
are:
- Sold at least 10 items
in the last 90 days
- Have a minimum
Feedback score of 100
- Have a Positive
Feedback rating of 97% or higher
- Your eBay account must be
in good standing
- You agree to abide by
eBay's TA User Agreement
If you do
qualify for the TA Program then go ahead and register
yourself. Don't worry if you do not have or know all the
information to create a complete TA profile because you can
always go back and add/modify it at any time.
You can still
sell items on eBay for other people even if you do not
qualify under eBay's TA Program. Registering as an eBay
Trading Assistants does
gives you the permission to use the Official eBay Trading
Assistant marketing material
(i.e. logo and templates) and also be listed in
eBay Trading
Assistants Directory. All registered trading assistants will
have the designation on their feedback page (see below).
